Knowing God, Loving Him, Telling Others, Changing the World!

Here at Generations Church, we want to partner with parents to help create the time and atmosphere to nurture both THE PARENTS and THE CHILD! We believe that every child is created in God’s image with a special purpose and plan for their lives!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

– Ephesians 2:10

We know for families with special needs children, it can be a challenge to find the time and energy to stay encouraged in their own faith and journey. Our goal is to nurture and teach children, no matter what stage they are in development, in these important ways, SPIRITUALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, EDUCATIONAL and PHYSICALLY. We know that children respond to love, and we know that God’s Word brings life to every person!

We minister to the children by focusing on the child’s ability to interact through their senses and engaging the child physically during some fun, gross, motor play as well! We have enlisted the help of several professionals in the fields of special needs and have a plan that would allow each child to be ministered to at their individual level. Our ratios in every classroom allow every participant to be ministered to at a personal level.

Champions Club of Generations Church serves children, teens, and young adults with special needs on a weekly basis during our Sunday morning service currently at 10:00 AM.

We also have scheduled several Family Respite Nights during the year. These are available as an opportunity to give parents a short breather for an evening. Parents are encouraged to sign up in advance so we can have some amazing one-to-one trained volunteers ready to jump into a fun night for your child, while you can get some shopping done, have a “date” or just relax. It’s an awesome feeling to know your kids are in the hands of skilled caregivers and having a wonderful time as well!

We are partners with Lakewood Church in Houston Texas, who founded the original Champions Club in 2009. Their Champions Club has gone on to grow from its beginnings at Lakewood to be incorporated into serving the needs of individuals in congregations and communities around the world.

Want to VOLUNTEER? You can make a difference in the lives of families and children with special needs by sharing your gifts and talents in the Champions Club ministry of Generations Church. Each week in the Champions Club, volunteers minister, teach, develop, and love kids, teens, and adults with neurological, developmental, and physical disabilities.
