Those who call Generations Church their home church regularly give a tithe unto the Lord. The word “tithe” means “tenth” and it is a way of honoring God with the first 10% of our income and anything above and beyond that is considered an additional offering unto Him!
As His Word teaches us, we believe it enables all of us to keep His spirit of generosity at the forefront, keep our focus on HIM as our provider, as well as releases blessing into our lives for abundance not just for our own households but to be able to have the means to give extravagantly to those around us. Tithing is one of the Lord’s amazing gifts and tools to us for ushering us into a truly generous lifestyle.
