Generations Learning Center is dedicated to providing a Christ- centered environment where children are cared for the way Christ cares for the Church. We aim to nurture the “whole child” by providing organic as well as teacher directed learning experiences in the areas of spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. Children are encouraged to be independent thinkers and lifelong learners. Generations Learning Center delivers experiences that enhance self esteem which is essential in the adjusting, exploring, and growing stages of child development.
Philosophy of Teaching:
At Generations Learning Center, we believe that children learn best by being in a loving environment. We believe that if the basic needs of a child are not being met, that child cannot learn. That is why we are dedicated to all aspects of the child’s growth. Through developmentally appropriate practices, all children will be engaged in their own learning. Teachers at GLC are facilitators of exploration and discovery starting with the infant class. Each child will be loved and nurtured no matter where they are on their journey of growth.
Teacher Qualifications:
All our teachers are highly qualified and trained in the areas of education. All staff members are CPR and First Aid certified. The love of children and learning are evident by the acute care each child receives. We choose faculty members who love the early childhood profession and have a strong, positive curiosity about life that sparks confidence and joy in those around them. Above all, employees at Generations Learning Center believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Bible is God breathed.
Meal Plan:
Generations Learning Center provides meals and snacks that are nutritious and help power every child to be the best they can be! If your child stays for 4-6 hours, they will receive lunch and one snack. If they are at GLC for 6-10 hours, they will receive one meal and two snacks.
